Kowas Hunting Safaris is situated in Namibia, "the jewel on the face of Africa"... Namibia is one of the most stable democracies in Africa.

The infrastructure is compared as the best in Africa, i.e. medical service, hospitals, road and telecommunication, full cell phone and internet reception.

The population of Namibia is 2,3 million people in 2010, spread over a vast surface of 824 269 km² (twice the size of Texas). Our populations are known for their hospitality and friendliness. The national language is English.

KOWAS

Kowas Hunting Safaris operates from a privately owned property called Kowas, which is about 17 000 acres of wildlife-only area. The Kowas lodge is also situated on the Kowas property.

Kowas, however, forms part of the Dordabis Conservation area (Conservancy) consisting of a massive 400 000 acres. This area is blessed with a large variety of wildlife species. Twenty one (21) game species could be hunted in the Conservancy area.

Kowas are situated one-hour's drive from the International Airport (called Chief Hosea Kutako Airport). Kowas borders the central highlands and the famous Kalahari semi-desert area.
