Activities at Kowas:

Our hunters will return from their hunting expedition just before dark where they will be congratulated on their success of the day. We will then move to the outdoor fireplace (a typical African tradition), where we will enjoy a sundowner and celebrate the days success. Various traditional African dishes are prepared on the built-in barbecue area under the thatched roof, with the emphasis on venison. Depending on what the hunter has harvested for the day that specific game meat (venison) would be prepared for supper. Various cooking methods are being used in order to ensure a variety of dishes and tastes. To emphasize the African tradition, meals are served outside under the thatched area and tables are decorated in such a way to complement the menu. Please inform us in advance of any special medical conditions, i.e. diabetes, allergies, personal preferences, etc.
