We will have breakfast at about 7 o'clock after which we will depart to one of our waterholes. We will set ourselves up on the flight path of the sand grouse - close to the waterwhole. At about 08:30 the sandgrouse will start flying in their hundreds to the waterwhole. The shooting action will be intense for about two hours, where you will fire a shot about every 30 seconds. The sandgoruse are quite fast and extremely maneuverable in the air - which make wingshooting at them a huge challenge.
After the hunt, we will then enjoy a drink and talk about the action of the morning and return to the lodge. After the hunt, birds will be collected, cleaned and prepared for dinner. Sandgrouse are extremely tasteful.
